For the first time in CCMEC’s history, two Indigenous speakers will be featured as Keynotes.
Warshield CEO Max FineDay will take to the stage on Monday, November 4, where he will will lead a conversation that goes beyond land acknowledgements, and gets to the heart of the roadblocks and opportunities to generate wealth with Indigenous peoples.
Former President of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Glenn Nolan closes out the convention on November 5. Nolan will discuss the importance of building respectful and meaningful partnerships with First Nations communities, highlighting the collaborations between Missanabie Cree and the Renabie Mine as an example of successful partnership development between communities and the mineral industry.
In addition you can take in 16 technical sessions over two days, featuring 45 industry experts covering a wide range of topics from Prospecting – Where it All Begins to Mining for the Future – New Technologies, plus visit 140 exhibitors on the trade show floor – the largest number in CCMEC history!
New to CCMEC 2024 is an expanded Indigenous Artisan’s Marketplace; a Mine Rescue demonstration; and a cultural performance by the Aboriginal School of Dance.
