Province Invests in Manitoba

The provincial government has announced $1.5 million in funding to MAMI to help attract investment to Manitoba.

Business, Mining, Trade and Job Creation Minister Jamie Moses made the announcement at MAMI’s annual Mix and Mingle event at the legislature March 26.

Stacy Kennedy, MAMI’s president had this to say about the financial commitment, “We are excited to showcase Manitoba’s critical minerals to world. They are vital to the global economy and MAMI, and we thank the provincial government for the opportunity to attract new capital for important projects.”

This funding builds on the provincial commitment made to Uncover Prosperity Manitoba (UP MB), a campaign created to enhance awareness and understanding of the modern mining industry and the role it plays in building the future of the province.
